Quick Post: Refreshing Rehydration....


Don't Let The Summer Heat Dehydrate You!



One of my gym teachers posted an article about Dasani Drops and all the comments seemed to be more of an argument about a person's right to drink said product, rather than a helpful alternative. I posted another option which I share here with you.

Start with either plain water or lightly brewed herbal tea like mint or decaf green. Fill your glass (or if you're classy like me, large mason jar) 3/4 to the top. Then add a large section of lemon and/or lime, remove seeds and peel then squeeze and drop in. Fill the rest of the way with coconut water. Stir and Enjoy! If you have them around you can also tear a few mint leaves into this refreshing elixir :) It will re-hydrate, re-stock your body with electrolytes, but without all those additives and very little added sugar.
